Vegan Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Nothing says “Fall” quite like pumpkins… and baking! Enjoy this Vegan Pumpkin Bread recipe, from our kitchen to yours.


2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. clove
15.75 oz. pumpkin
7.75 oz. apple sauce
1/4 cup vegetable or canola oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup water


  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Spray 1 medium to large loaf pan with vegan cooking spray of choice & line bottom of pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  3. In large bowl combine all dry ingredients, mix to distribute evenly.
  4. In another bowl combine all wet ingredients & mix well.
  5. Add wet ingredients to dry & mix well.
  6. Pour into lined pan & bake until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cooking time can vary quite a bit due to the lack of eggs, type of oven used & pan used, so set your timer at 25 minutes for your 1st toothpick test & check every 10 minutes after until toothpick comes out clean.
