California is known throughout the world as a great wine producing region. European settlers brought vines with them and began producing wines during the Mexican Colonial period.
Most wine is produced in the Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake Counties. Santa Barbara also has some great wines, and there are some up-and-coming regions like Lodi and Paso Robles. If you’re looking for fun vacation activities, you might consider touring in California wine country. It’s a very beautiful experience!
This wine tasting is an opportunity to appreciate the amazing wines that come from California. Taste these wines with us as we remember never to take for granted California’s mighty contribution to viticulture.
Help us support those that have been devastated by the fires in the Sonoma and Napa regions. We will be donating 10% of all wine bottle purchases made during the tasting and 10% of all non-wine club member tasting fees. All the donation fund will go to the Napa Valley Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund http://www.napavalleycf.org/fire-donation-page/
Everyone that purchases a bottle of wine during the tasting will receive a complimentary wine yoke!
