Maynards Introduces Two New Private Label Wines

Tucson, AZ (March 7, 2017) – Maynards Market & Kitchen has done it again. Wine enthusiasts will soon get to taste the latest private label wines, including a white wine from this downtown restaurant. Maynards has been working hard to release their third edition private label Red wine and their first private label White wine, which are both set to hit the shelves on Monday, March 13. Like the previous collection of Reds, the new AZ RED was grown and produced in Southern Arizona in conjunction with nationally-recognized vintner Rob Hammelmen of Sand-Reckoner Vineyards. As Maynards’ mission of integrating local products in their market and on their menus continues, they take it to the next level by producing two more local wines. Both of these private label blends will be available to enjoy by the glass or by the bottle at Maynards Market & Kitchen, as well as at The Hotel Congress.

The new AZ Red is a medium bodied, juicy and fruity blend with red fruit and herbs. This wine is fresh and is soft on the palate and contains 50% Tempranillo, 40% Syrah and 10% Graciano. This new blend makes an excellent addition to Maynards’ selection of exceptional wines.

The first edition AZ White is a medium bodied wine with melon and citrus notes. This private label is fresh and clean on the palate and contains 40% Marsanne, 27% Roussanne, 26% Malvasia and 7% Picpoul. This new white wine makes it’s debut in time for warm weather and spring celebrations.

Maynards Market & Kitchen’s in-house Sommelier, Steven Berger, curates their wine spectator-recognized selection and has been proud to be a part of the process in adding two new private label wines to their already diverse collection. Maynards considers producing a private label wine, let alone two, an inspired way to showcase their distinction among other Tucson restaurants.

Visit Maynards Market & Kitchen or The Hotel Congress to try the new AZ Red & White! Be sure to keep your wine choices local by ordering it by the glass at either of the award-winning restaurants, or pick up a bottle to enjoy with family and friends.
