Sip & Swirl at Grapes to Glass: Maynards Market & Kitchen’s Inaugural Art & Wine Festival Happening This Saturday



Tucson, AZ (August 24, 2015) Tucsonans can sip Arizona wines while helping the Local First Arizona non-profit whose mission is to promote, support, and celebrate a vibrant and sustainable Arizona economy. The inaugural event hosts local artists and local wineries from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 12 at Maynards Market & Kitchen located in the historic train depot. Tickets include eight samples of wine, a commemorative wine glass guests will actually want to keep, a wine yoke, and snacks for only $35 a ticket, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Local First Arizona. In addition to the non-profit, Maynards has invited Village Bakehouse Breads and Alfonso Olive Oil to host their Artisanal Bread Bar.  What would a wine event be without cheese? Fiore di Capra completes the bar with their locally-crafted cheese.

Grapes to Glass hosts a relaxed atmosphere of afternoon wine sipping, taking in the local art, and enjoying live music. Those brave of feet can enter the grape stomping competition, inspired by the famous I Love Lucy episode. Guests will also get a sneak peak of Maynards’ second edition private label wine, AZ Red Malbec Blend at the festival.
